I also had the need to shift a bit in what I read and where I choose to comment. I was receiving a good bit of negativity or being ignored due to my "fur sissy" name/avatar that ended up hurting my feelings a bit more than I had liked. I do greatly appreciate those who comment. It just seems harder nowadays to try and bring in newer readers than in the past. I have started exploring other web avenues as well and sharing this story there. I'm hoping that should give me some ideas to help keep things going.fur sissyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06773975470940525031noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3097573368575371682.post-34048744680267020462016-06-28T10:57:12.114-05:002016-06-28T10:57:12.114-05:00The tank always seems to run dry, fur. A lot has ...The tank always seems to run dry, fur. A lot has to do with the comments, or lack thereof. It's impossible to write in a vacuum for very long, and even your frenetic pace of late needs some back and forth to keep the fires burning. But take heart, Miss Lily has been there for you, eMs sub, Lawyer as well, and several newcomers have arrived to read the new fur chronicles. I too miss the old bunch, but many have left in response to Google's ill advised censorship fiasco, and have never returned. New blood is needed, and old blood needs to support the old crew and the newbies. Keep on writing! You can slow it down a bit, but I find it inspirational and I'm sure that others do as well. I regularly have over 400 readers per day, yet only a fraction actually comment. Frustrating, but if they keep on reading, well, that's comforting as well.Lady Greyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10795130564028111447noreply@blogger.com
