Drawing

Well, I did this drawing in sections over the course of about two months, drawing one character in each sitting.  I'm not all that happy with how it turned out (it's a bit inconsistent and things didn't quite "fit" how I wanted them to) but I figured I'd share it anyways.  I had planned to add some captions but decided against it.

  1. I like the concept of being 'on dislpay' ....

  2. I like the job you did on the ladies, but I'm a little confused about our hero in the center. Are those sliding cuffs? Is he dancing as the ladies throw coins? Why the strange design on the pole?

  3. Thank you for the comments, Lady Grey. I will try to answer all of the questions. The "our hero" reference made me chuckle.

    -Yes, those are sliding cuffs.

-Pretty much. You've got strippers that get $10's and $20's. You've got strippers that get $1's and $5's. Go down the food chain and you get pelted with spare change.

-The pole was an experiment with some of the pattern fills in my drawing program. Trying to draw a shiny gold pole goes beyond my current abilities. I figured I would try something.

    Thank you, mittens.
