By popular demand...

So... the past few shopping drawings have been very well-received.  I had been trying to envision a few situations Kimberley has been in and how they might feel.

With that in mind, if I had to title this one it would probably be "Kimberley's Nightmare."

I did a caption but realized it was almost becoming a story by itself so I figured I would post both since the caption drawing is very cluttered.

  1. On the bright side, he'll get to keep the clothes!

  2. Hehe. In exchange for his freedom, money, and dignity.

  3. He was crying in fear and desperation as he felt the police officer tighten the handcuffs behind his back. Through his tears, he was trying to tell them that it was all a misunderstanding. She had told him to come to this store, and given specific instructions that he had to buy the fur trimmed top and skirt. She had insisted that he wear his pink angora sweater, the one with the white fox fur trim on the collar and cuffs. She had secured his bonnet under his chin with a small pink brass padlock, which didn't show, but denied him the chance to take it off, or even slip it back. He had asked to wear gloves to cover the "peg me pink" nail polish she had made him put on. He was so humiliated when she fastened the hot pink angora mittens on him, secured so they could not be removed. He had picked up the clothes she had directed, and was attempting to pay for them with his credit card. When the sales staff demanded identification, "because this is a man's card, and you aren't", he had been unable to provide any. She had ensured that he had no cash, or any other identification. Everyone, the two police officers, the store manager, and her sales girls were laughing about catching the "fradulent transaction."
And to make matters worse, he knew that she wouldn't answer the phone, even if he could convince the officers to call and confirm the unlikely tale he had told them.
The police officer behind him, even as she was activating the double lock on the handcuffs, told everyone that they had a special cell at the station for sissies who needed to be taught a lesson.

  4. Thanks Kimberley.

I'm glad you were able to "get into" the moment.
