So...
It appears that these 30 days posts are actually doing quite a good job of absorbing my cravings to write and they work out nicely for scheduling them in advance. Basically, they keep me from making posts I regret later on when I grasp at straws trying to come up with something interesting.
Another noteworthy aspect is that I am revealing more about my present personal self in a different way than I really have before.
My question is to the readers: Do you find these interesting at all or would you rather me scrap them?
I know I have received comments on a handful but I can't tell if this is something people are genuinely interested in or not.
Any input would be much appreciated.
Fur, of course we find your latest project interesting even the depth of your confession is sometimes overwhelming. No wonder Lady Grey wants to utilize your energy in the next life.
ReplyDeleteI, for myself, am curious: does T read your blog?
Thank you very much.
DeleteI find some of my confessions overwhelming as well :)
But I figured the only way to make this interesting and worthwhile was to answer as honestly as possible.
As for T. She used to read my blog regularly back when we were practicing D/s but she has not read it since probably 2012, around the time she started classes and our last external links to the lifestyle passed on (when Marc from Cleo and Marc died).
I told her about my Reflections posts when I wrote them. She asked me if she could read them and I told her I would think about it. After she tore into me a couple of weeks later and insulted my need to write, telling me that I was pathetic writing my wanker porn, I decided I did not want her to read it and I spiraled into a very dark place.
I don't know what I would do if I had to censor myself on here.
Take care.
Keep writing them, yes. I like these posts very much.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tina.
DeleteI will keep going with them.
Take care.
Hmmm... I just tried to leave a comment but I think blogspot ate it.
ReplyDeleteSo again (and hopefully you won't get this in duplicate):
I think any writing exercise that "works" for personal reasons is worth doing/continuing. This seems to be working for you, so by all means, continue. :)
Thank you, Mrs Fever.
DeleteIt looks like blogger did eat it.
It is definitely working, I just worry what I will do when I finish them. I already have scheduled posts done through Day 18 hehe.
Take care.
If it feels good, keep doing it. There's no doubt that it has re-stimulated your desire to write, and that's a good thing. I find that I skim some of it and read deeply in other spots, depending on which questions and answers intrigue me. So I stand in the "aye" column:)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lady Grey.
DeleteThe topics do vary quite a bit so I can completely understand picking and choosing them based on interest.
Take care.
I'm enjoying your answers, so I' with everyone else, continue on.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Misty.
DeleteIt is fun so far. I also look forward to seeing the rest of your 30 Days topics.
Take care.
Write and post for you....not for whoever may read and/or comment. If it is right for you to continue, then continue!
ReplyDeleteAnd when you've finished, I'm sure there will be more exploration if the things you've written :-)
Best, Kat
Thank you, Kat.
DeleteI don't mind being a crowd-pleaser. In the earliest days of my blog I mostly wrote on philosophical ideas and always leaned on comments for ideas to discuss when I didn't have anything in mind. After that was my drawing phase and again, I leaned on readers for ideas on what to draw. The current version is a mix of fiction and me exposing way more of my personal self than I am comfortable doing, but I'm willing to be influenced by what people want to read.
Most of the time I do end up just writing what's on my mind, but I figure it can't hurt to ask.
Take care.
