Does
your submission – either what you practice or what you strive for –
have a label?
What I have had and strive for would probably be best described as 24-7 or FLR.
Do you view your submission as Taken in Hand, domestic
discipline, top/bottom, dominant/submissive, master/slave, owner/pet,
or some other description or combination?
It would probably best be classified as dominant/submissive. I don't know what Taken in Hand is but the capital letters make it sound important.
If you do not use a label,
why?
We've always used a label but I suppose would could drop it if that is what she wanted.
Dear Fur,
ReplyDeleteThere are lots of websites out there that talk about Taken in Hand, and it is a domestic discipline relationship. Check out takeninhand.com may help with some info :-)
Labels while they can help us to explore what we may be, or the things that we may need, they can also limit us as we often place ourselves into those pigeon hole labels. For me, I just work to knowing what works for me and what doesn't, I may not fit into other people's labels, but that's OK too.
Best, Kat
Thank you, Kat.
DeleteI actually had someone email me links to taken in hand. I try not to judge too harshly but the descriptions I read sort of felt like they were written by hipsters.
Take care.
